CRAWFISH BOIL IS APRIL 30!

Boiled up by the Moon River Cajun Cookers, the crawfish and shrimp, along with potatoes, onion and corn are a tasty afternoon treat!

Crawfish Boil Returns

They’re back! After a two year hiatus, Louisiana crawfish will return again on April 30 to the Pedernales Fire Department Auxiliary Crawfish Boil. Starting at noon at Fire Station #1 at 801 Bee Creek Rd., the event will run until 6 p.m. or until the food has run out.

Moon River Cajun Cookers is our partner and will be donating their time and equipment to cook  the delicious crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, onions and corn, in a spicy mix that makes it melt in your mouth.

We’re hoping for a delightful day where you can enjoy the atmosphere under the trees while listening to a talented DeeJay. The event will have sodas and waters available for sale, and you may BYOB. To go orders are available too. Come on out and enjoy a community event!

You won’t wait too long in line to eat some of the best crawfish in Texas at the annual PFDA Crawfish Boil!

The PFD Auxiliary organizes two annual events, the Crawfish Boil in April and the Firehouse Feast in September to encourage community participation and to raise funds for the fire department. We also welcome outright contributions.

Volunteers set up, sell t-shirts and crawfish, and then help take it all down. Couldn’t do it without them! Call 512-663-8999 if you want to volunteer!
