Vaccine Available at PFD #1
The Pedernales Fire Department has been authorized by the CDC and TX DSHS to resume vaccinations using the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) Covid 19 vaccine. It will be given at PFD firehouse #1 at 801 Bee Creek Rd. in Spicewood.
Sign up at the link below, for spots starting this Friday, 4/30, and starting again Monday, 5/3 through Friday, 5/7, 30 doses per day.

The PFD Auxiliary has finalized the 2020 Calendar and here are the event dates.
Show the Love! First two week of February – you can sign up to bring a dessert or fruit platter to one of the three PFD Stations. Notices will be sent out at the beginning of February. Let’s show our firemen and EMS personnel the love from the community!
6th ANNUAL CRAWFISH AND SHRIMP BOIL – Saturday, 4/25/2020, noon to 6:00pm (maybe a tad bit earlier if food runs out)!! Come sit under the trees at PFD Station One at 801 Bee Creek Road and support your Pedernales Fire Department and enjoy some spicy crawfish and shrimp cooked by the famous Moon River Cajun Cookers!! Info to follow! 
ANNUAL PEACH FUNDRAISER! Notices will start going out shortly letting folks know when you can start ordering your bags, half cases and full cases of Texas peaches!! The pickup is usually in June each year. Info to follow. Great way to support the Auxiliary AND get some delicious Texas peaches!
FIREHOUSE FEAST 2020!! September 26, 2020!! This is our biggest event of the year – Auctions, BBQ Dinner, Live Music and Dancing, and just general visitin’ with your neighbors under the sky at PFD Station One at 801 Bee Creek Road. More info will follow!

It’s Peach Saturday!
For those of you who ordered peaches through the PFD Auxiliary Peach Fundraiser, pick up will be at PFD Station One at 801 Bee Creek Road from 9:30-12:00noon tomorrow, Saturday, 6/22/19.. Members of the PFD Auxiliary will also be selling bags of peaches for $10 at various stores in the area and at the PFD Firehall. Stop on by and get some delicious Texas peaches and support the Pedernales Fire Department!
During the pick up time, the PFD Auxiliary will also have some breakfast goodies at Station One and we’d love to talk to you about volunteering with us – WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET! The Pedernales Fire Department is such a vital and worthwhile organization to support! Come have a cup of coffee and find out how you can help!
